If Canada was a state, the Republicans would never win the electoral college again. There would never be another Republican president.
And the House of Representatives would be permanently blue.
And even just 2 more senators would be a massive risk for the Republicans too. If each province was a state, it would be game over in the senate as well.
California, Texas, New York, and Canada would all be blue in 2028. There are only so many Floridas and Texas is not guaranteed.
And if the Canadians in Florida and Arizona and Nevada could vote, they may not be as red anymore either.
Canada will never be a state. But it would certainly kill the US Republican Party if it did.
I don't think you are accurately accounting for the popularity of politicians who align themselves with MAGA policies in Canada
Yeah, a few make it through, but not nearly enough to affect the chaos they want to, unlike our southern neighbours...
I’ve got bad news we are all mostly already blue. Replicocans only win because voting is a pain is the ass by design. When democrats when they don’t even try to fix things, they just put thier hands up and say “I’m so pissed but thier nothing we can do other then complain quietly to ourselves. Thats a shame.
It's kind of a pain, especially in certain districts in red and purple states where they make it intentionally hard to vote... but for the vast majority of non-voters, either they just don't care or they think it won't make a difference who they vote for.
It's as much a mind game as a foot game.
