~~I wish I can look back at my entire day and see what I did. (It will mostly just be computer, kitchen and bathroom only, but still a cool idea)~~

I changed my mind

I usually use my memory when I want to look back on my entire day and know what I did.

Right? Such a great invention. Quality is not always great but huge storage capacity and amazing privacy protections. And its free!

When I look at my game recordings, I can see my mistakes/places to improve.

If I see the steam overlay saying 150 minutes game time, its like "eh. Its long, but I had fun". But if I see an over 2 hour clip of me not leaving my chair, that will make a bigger impact, reminding me how little I do every day

Or you can just use your common sense and save yourself the cost of this ugly piece of junk.

People tend to avoid you less if you don't look like a sneaky perv, so that's another bonus.

Plus, you'll not be funding Meta and you'll have one less piece of rubbish in a drawer somewhere that needs recycling after one month of use.

I'm NEVER buying a Meta product. I'm just saying camera glasses is a cool idea. Shame that its tied being a terrible company.

And if you noticed, I only mentioned using it in my own home. Never out in public.

Enhance your calm, I agree with you.

It's one of those things that sounds great in sci-fi, like flying cars, until you realise that the world is full of awful people that immediately repurpose any new tech for filthy lucre / inflicting suffering / power grabbing.

You'll maybe reevaluate that position after watching this episode of Black Mirror.

Endlessly torturing yourself over minute details throughout each day doesn't sound fun or healthy to me.

Well... Fuck

I'm glad I have the day off tomorrow cause now I need to process some stuff...

I've heard good things about the show, but that was my first episode I watched. Are they all this good?

[–] Zombie@feddit.uk 1 points 1 week ago

For the first few seasons, yeah!

When Netflix bought the rights there was a shift to Americanisation of everything and it started to go downhill but there's still some decent episodes from that period as well. But the best episodes are the oldest ones.

Who needs to video their day to torture thenselves with minute details throughout each day, your brain can pull that info up any time it is inconvenient to you and run through it for hours
