It's a super rewarding experience, it's a breath of fresh air after windows forcing shit on you 24/7. Nowadays for a somewhat advanced user it's a really easy switch, unless you are locked into specific software.

As a somewhat advanced user i would say it's the most difficult to us, at the moment i have problems with my GUI for pipewire. Will i be able to fix that probably but it will be time consuming and i'm a bit scared. For a basic user like my dad or a friend of mine linux just works
