Surely the what the world needs right now is more plastic.
That is a downside.
Still better use than take aways, product wrappers, glitter and plastic lined paper.
I mean I suppose, I just know I have a few hundred of those that will eventually all be waste after the playable bits eventually deteriorate, if I even would listen to them or find myself in the need of cracked software from the early 2000s.
Yes true, but cd’s don’t deteriorate as fast. I’m using cds (cheap and not the best) from 90s and the data is still perfectly readable. I do understand it won’t work for many cases now though.
