Llm's are not ai. Llm's get in the way of real ai research, as they do all other thought.

Personally, I think that's kind of a matter of opinion. AI is a pretty broad term.

If you include the thing that im playing against when i run a computer opponent in 'starcraft: brood war', or the thing included in my keyboard app to help me type tgis, sure. Yes. It's ai.

It is not in any meaningful sense intelligence or a convincing simulation thereof.
