Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules

  1. If you post images with text, endeavour to provide the alt-text

  2. If the image is a crosspost from an OP, Provide the source.

  3. Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

  4. Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

  5. No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

  6. This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

  7. No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

Vote in a right wing government get right wing policy. Pretty simple

[–] Deceptichum@quokk.au 18 points 1 day ago

So where’s the left wing government to vote, because it sure as fuck ain’t the two capitalist parties?

[–] kek@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

As if voting would change things in the US

[–] Fizz@lemmy.nz -5 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Ok youre one of the people voting for right wing policy then.

[–] kek@discuss.tchncs.de 9 points 1 day ago (3 children)

You’re saying none of those things would happen under dems?

[–] Fizz@lemmy.nz 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Do we really still need to have this discussion in 2026? I'm happy to go through it as many times as it takes to prevent Americans from voting Trump in a 3rd time.

[–] nsrxn@mstdn.social 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

people who didn't vote for Trump aren't responsible for his election. the people who did vote for Trump are the only ones to blame for his election.

If you're eligible to vote and you voted for trumo, voted 3rd parry or abstained you're responsible. You were happy with either outcome. So you're morally scum like maga.

Let me guess, you voted for whoever that third party lady was.

Hm wonder where she's run off to.

Jillian! Where are you?!

[–] nsrxn@mstdn.social 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

unless you're voting for a leftist you are definitely voting in a right wing party, Democrat or Republican.

So unless you have your perfect candidate you are fine hurting people and making conditions worse for hundreds of millions of people? What a privileged little ivory tower you sit in.
