He was laid off last month, along with 4,000 of his ex-colleagues at Block — the company behind Square, Afterpay and Cash App.

Well it would seem it would be a good time for the article's Andrew Hamilton and his ex-colleagues to look at some basic black hat skills if they're using AI Slop in their codebase.
