Crazy how the prequels are reflecting reality
The Empire was originally based on the Nixon administration and the prequels added influences from Bush. All this has happened before and all this will happen again.
I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to mix Battlestar Galactica with Star Wars.
