The internet is no more the place for those who need everything spoon-fed to them than it is for people like me, who realize everyone is capable of providing references, settling debates, or escalating for shits and giggles without contributing anything substantial of their own. My humoring people like you, in that last category, stops at providing references when demanded. Pre-empting your bullshit is a waste of effort.

We are drowning in people relying on fake references provided by AI, and here you and those who think like you are, wondering why one should bother to substantiate or even bother to disagree with someone when calling them a liar or their views shit.

Step one in claiming someone said or did something wrong, that there's a better way is to demonstrate said better way, to lead by example. Literally, PUT UP OR SHUT UP.

The cashier tells you what the machine says the price is. Everyone involved knows that cash-registers are often wrong/out-of-date, or that the prices on the shelves haven't been up-dated but in many cases the store is still obligated to honor the price on the shelf, but its still on us to provide a picture of the shelf, or wait for another employee to be called to go check the shelf.

In your world, the cashier is wrong for not providing a picture of the shelf when telling you the price, for relying on the information at-hand and your equal ability to reference better sources if you have a problem with that, but the cashier doesn't set the prices and "the internet" doesn't magically work how you say just because you say it does or even if your version is en vogue.

You use the internet your way. I use it mine. You are as entitled to me providing references, ever, as I am to your home address. Everything in-between is a concession, a process, and if you want to skip steps, there's no reason to insert the extra step of demanding references without providing your own; No reason beyond making the active choice to waste everyone's time.

Tantrum? Assuming you can read and have any hope of understanding what I am trying to say with only a few paragraphs is the opposite of a tantrum. Tantrums involve few words and repeating the same thing, a demand if you will, over and over and with only the slightest of re-wordings, as you have done.
