So if I produce surplus intelligence, can I sell it back to the grid like with solar? Like if I want to just sit at home and look at memes all day, I'd have some to spare probay.
Reminds me of the Black Mirror episode where people get an implant to live and it ends up mining bitcoin in their head lmao.
To be fair electricity is kind of the only thing where that works, and has only recently become a mainstream thing. I can't really dig a well and sell my water back to the water company or make my own TV channels
"selling surplus intelligence to the grid" is basically what all those people employed in the cubicle farms over seas that actually run the AI apps are doing. It's funny how every time a company has some new "AI will do it" like check out your groceries or drive your delivery robots, etc. it always turns out to be literal human people in cubicle farms...
