That website is an abomination. Try rejecting all the cookie permissions; it’s like they build in click delays.
Unmodified Brave makes it look acceptable to me... What adblock are you using? And if it's uBO, how many lists do you have turned on?
I was on mobile at the moment, but I have ubo with sufficient lists on desktop. At any rate, that site is horrible.
You're absolutely right, but I am so worried about the state of your phone's browser right now. Stay safe out there, use protection, etc
