How often do you go to the grocery store to get items? For me (living in America), I tend to pick up groceries for about 1.5-2 weeks at a time. This could explain at least a part of why we have large filled fridges. But perhaps I misunderstood what you were intending.

I'm usually in debt to the point I stretch what food I have. I eat the same shit. Rice and meat. Beans. PB and J. Try to get a bagged salad once a week or every other.

right now I have oatmeal, a can of soup, a packet of ramen, a can of beans, a few seasonings, a can of tuna and rice.

In my fridge I have PB and J some condiments, frozen veggies and a pack of burgers.

I shop when I have the money.
