You can tell when the corporate establishment really doesn’t want a candidate in by a sudden rush of this type of oppo research being pushed in all the corporate media outlets and simultaneously by all the social media outlets.
Yep. Platner is 100% flawed candidate. And the reason we know this is that he's a human being. I don't think he will be revolutionary, or a game changer. But there are at least three things to like about him already.
He wears his flaws, literally even. And if you go look at what he's said and done. Not just the out of context snippets that get repeated. He doesn't wear them to show them off proudly. But more like scars from battles he's learned from. People from communities some of his comments in the past have disparaged have confronted him on it. And he didn't hand wave it away. He's actually sat and discussed it with them. Listening to their concerns. And responding. And every time I'm aware of, none of them came away thinking he's actually a racist, a bigot, or a Nazi etc. Just an insulated white boy walking over a yard full of rakes. Learning hard truths each time they smack him. But he is learning. Something most representatives refuse to do.
Then there's the fact that He's against the genocide in Palestine by it's occupiers. And has taken nothing from AIPAC or related groups.
And the most important for now, he's actually anti establishment. Not just Republican but Democrat as well.
I can't vote for him. And where I do live we get 0 federal representation due to gerrymandering. If we have to have federal representation, I'd take someone like Platner any day over the losers we currently have.
And here I was thinking it was because of the Nazi tattoo on his chest
Uh huh. You posted that at me earlier on another thread, but ghosted me when I broke down how bad faith and misleading that argument was. People are going to think you're doing this in bad faith.
