Please provide your Social Security Number on these tax forms.
Also, please check this box that asks if you're an American citizen or not, on the same form that just asked for your Social Security Number.
Noncitizens with work authorization in the US also get SSNs. They can even get SS payments (if they qualify based on how much they work) if they are not citizens, as long as they maintain that work authorization the whole time....
.... At least, they can now, for as long as Stephen Miller doesn't know it's a thing.
Sounds like they already have the records they need then.
Right, but by asking over and over there is the possibility that someone misses a box on their paperwork and poof! They have made a false declaration and can now be deported
