Better yet, install a doorknob instead just so you can say it's your knob
TBF, maybe they wear women's pants. A pack of gum wouldn't fit in those pockets.
TBF, anyone can wear any gender of pants. The pocket situation persists because it's tolerated. If you made pants like that for men, they'd return them.

My hips are too wide to comfortably fit in men's pants without using the hell out of a belt
It's easier to add a belt to pants than it is to add larger pockets.

Anyways, I wear scrubs. They're the cargo pants of the professional world. My 6" ereader fits in one of the pockets. Highly recommend.

Says you, I mostly use my jacket pockets for my phone. My jacket pockets are large and deep so I could probably shove like 3 of these things into one pocket, my jacket is a surplus Czech Military field jacket.
