The major flaw in the second amendment is that it doesn’t account for mental retardation
Americans allowing almost everyone handgun ownership is the stupidest thing ever.
I don't trust 3/4 of the population with a car let alone a handgun.
And similar to guns, they should take old people’s drivers licenses away at a certain age, but they are such a huge voting block, the politicians wouldn’t dare. Plus we have very little public transportation because we spend all our money on war and graft and corruption.
100% that old people should have to take more frequent driver assessment tests. Maybe one at 65 years old. One at 69, one at 73, then every year or two after. You could probably create a simple driving simulator that tests sign reading ability and reaction times.
I've known some older people in their mid 80s with perfectly fine reactive times and mental ability, but I've also known some in their mid 60s who probably should have surrendered their license when they hit 60.
Oh I'm one of those folk who probably should never have been given a license. I'm sure I've gotten better over the years, but that's beside the point, which is that I don't need a license for my trike.
No shit amount of customer at the insurance company I work for over the age of 80 is to fucking high. I talk to a 97 year old yesterday adding a new car. Like who the fuck sells this person a car. They could barely talk to me. I hate to be around them driving.
Darwinian selection. Anyone stupid enough to hang with this douchnozzle, or go to a club so reckless kinda asked to get shot.
