I don't think clever and weird are mutually exclusive here unfortunately.
It is a fact that neither of us would be talking about sex robots right now otherwise. Unfortunately clever or not, its working?
Maybe, its working...Doesn't mean it isn't cursed as fuck though. I'd really hate for a company with an "AI" pivot to actually succeed as that would be nasty. At the end of the day, people crave novelty of all kinds, even the bad weird kind. So they are leveraging that and this tactic might work. I don't have to like it though.
Never said you had to like it anymore than I never said it was a good thing.
My point was they're bluffing. They dont' expect to be allowed in schools. This is pure "all publicity is good publicity."
Maybe they don't expect to be allowed in public schools, but given that CEOs are fucking weirdos, sometimes divorced from reality...Who knows? Yeah, I know you didn't say I would have to like it or whatever, not trying to put words in your mouth. I am feeling extra sour Solomon about this, my sour apple mood is leaking into my responses. ROFL As in a way it is really clever, and I am mad about it.
As they will certainly get a lot of press because of the level of insanity and bizarre that goes with something like this. That will in turn boost their sales.

Mmm, yeah, if it were just a sex toy company it would literally be a whatever from me. As people deserve to get their rocks off in whatever safe and sane way that works for them. However, to deliberately be on a mission to create something that...Emulates the human experience, that could be made to wear custom skins of celebrities or people that you wanna...Do the deed with, without the humanity associated with it. It's certainly unhinged with a scoop of deranged. They are also adding AI into the mix which is just asking for some serious ChatGPT psychosis cases to start cropping up!

Oh yeah, I could see that happening as accidents like that could very well happen and become a bit enough problem to defund this sex robot company.
