This obsession with women not having hair sort of has pedo vibes to it. It's like they want their pre-pubesent girl and not women.

[–] guy@piefed.social 21 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I don't have kids, but doesn't children have peach fuzz as well? Can't remember for myself

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 22 points 1 month ago

Yes, children are born covered in peach fuzz. Sometimes babies even have dark hair covering their backs that fall out and leave just the peach fuzz behind.

We're mammals after all :)

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 16 points 1 month ago

Yes humans have hair.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Nah, this one is more homophobic. Same reason why these people are obsessed with absurdly out of proportion breast implants. They need to signal to themselves and to the world that they definitely definitely aren't ever even thinking of men as attractive. Yet somehow also a subculture obsessed with every man's testosterone levels and muscles.

[–] yermaw@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 month ago

Its always the ones you most suspect

[–] rethnor@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 month ago

I can see it now that you mention it. Now I kinda wonder, is Jessie Cox in the closest?

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's almost as though the Pedo Guy tweet was pure projection 🧐

[–] rethnor@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Is Jesse Cox the pedo guy, or are you referring to Trump?

[–] boomzilla@programming.dev 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Look again. Cox wrote the tweet and shared the image from the guy questioning the hair. Cox is woke as can be. This is another comment from him:

A few of you, I think, read this wrong and have been angrily DMing to let me know women DO have hair. I promise you, I know this. ❤️ I’m just sharing another persons hot take.

Also the tweet is from 2022 and I dearly hope he left the nazi cesspool by now.

[–] rethnor@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

You are correct, I owe Jessie an apology

My wifes sister gets her pube shaved by laser at a lab. Very weird stuff

[–] DistrictSIX@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Also weird: knowing what your wife's sister does to her pubes.

[–] rethnor@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 month ago

True, but also a likely dinner conversation.

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 3 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Honestly, I don't even want to have this much hair, I want fur instead, like our chimp ancestors.

[–] SoleInvictus@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Chimp fur is quite coarse and awfully similar to thick, dense human body hair. I'd prefer something softer, like cat hair, but not chinchilla hair. That is too high maintenance.

[–] Pandantic@midwest.social 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That is too high maintenance.

I for one would love to take dust baths.

[–] SoleInvictus@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Same, but their hair is so dense it can rot if it gets too wet. Maybe quarter density chinchilla hair.

[–] Kaput@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

I want thickbwinter and thin Summer coats. I live un a climats that goes between -30C to 37C. M'y current escaped lab rat looking haïr patches isnt helping in either situations.

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Chimps are not our ancestors. We probably share a common ancestor though.

[–] velma@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Fur would be much more cozy!
