Low effort is still effort? I didn't think it was worth the effort, low as it might be

Clearly it was worth the effort with how many copies were sold.

Aside from that, personally, I think it's always worth the effort to be inclusive when we can.

How can you tell what sort of effect this had to the sales? It was a popular franchise already from what I can remember, so you'd expect a lot of copies sold. But how this sort of detail affected it, would be really interesting to know. If they did/do it in later games it probably didn't at least hurt them

Aside from that, personally, I think it’s always worth the effort to be inclusive when we can.

Corporation don't really have proper values like that imo

It didn’t affect it enough to slump sales and impact their profits significantly. They still made a shit ton from the game.

I get that corporations don’t care about anything but money, but the people who work on these projects obviously care. And I think it should be upheld and celebrated so that corporations are more inclined to be inclusive this way.

Women make up a large portion of the gaming community despite what gamergate style gamers claim.

I just wonder if the overall effect was positive (for income) since that way they'll keep doing it. Otherwise they'll axe it

Movie studios keep making movies that flop.

The new God of War is forging ahead despite the incel’s tears about the protagonist being a woman.

I think this kind of representation will be around for a while. Again, women make up a very large portion of gamers now.

Do you think sex scenes in games should be a thing

[–] Saapas@piefed.zip 1 points 1 month ago

They do have them in some games
