Frankly, my own block list is huge. Mostly keywords, very few users. I would recommend it to everyone. Any social media is unbearable without blocking shit out. Everyone should personalise blocklists to their tastes.
But you can't make this decision for people. This is why I also don't like that some instances defederate a lot of other instances they don't like (and no one tells newbies). There's a niche for pre-populated block lists that are available and curated and transparent (like for ad-blockers).
Yeah I think sharing them is a great idea as long as people can opt in or out. Respect people's agency.
I personally don't block anything that isn't already blocked by my instance.
