The issue is that we can't just stop after voting. We have to push the parties to become more like what we need.
Nope, there is another alternative: revolution and working class power. Many countries went through this extremely difficult struggle to liberate themselves from capitalist/imperialist domination.
Too much suffering that way, for everyone.
That's the true alleviation of suffering, by eliminating it's root cause: capitalist domination.
Anything else is just prolonging the symptoms.
Without it, you have a genocide happening. What is considered a worse suffering than a genocide?
