Why does anyone need an 'app' when you could just use a Bookmark to your browser.

I am so sick of everything turning into an app, most things can be handled by a website be that on mobile or pc.

Why go to a site if I can embed it in a dashboard tho?

not a Microsoft dashboard of any kind, but in HA or as a kde background widget....

Under Linux mint in I have an applet for that. Next to the clock.

I work in the field. I really liked the weather tile from Windows8/10 because my computer often would tell me at a glance if the weather was going to turn nasty. That was handy.

It's more fun to have free version of copilot build you a webpage for the weather with just the graphs, numbers and features you prefer, with outrageous styling.
