You suggest that there is only anime porn and Linux here, and yet, you are here. So either you loathe yourself, adore Linux and anime porn, or adore those things AND loathe yourself. I don't think you're in a position to be snarky, kiddo.
I see similar comments every now and then. What exactly is missing here for you? There’s a community for almost anything except some niche topics
Niche topics was all I ever used Reddit for, so in my case, Lemmy just doesn’t replace Reddit at all. None of the subreddits I follow have an active equivalent Lemmy community. They go from a few posts a day and dozens of comments on Reddit to “last post: 3 years ago” on Lemmy.
Local communities are lacking. We don't have the critical mass for that.
More diversity, but since we're commenting under a new user's comment, that may be correcting itself.
