Sorry to be a debbie downer but I have grave concerns about the long term viability of firefox.
Sites obviously don't test against ff anymore with more and more bugs appearing in more and more sites.
I have to daily drive both ungoogled-chromium and librewolf and sadly, the number of things I need to do in chromium is increasing week by week.
Interesting, I use FF as a daily driver (with uBlock, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere) and I don’t experience common issues. I’m curious where you’re seeing problems? Maybe there’s something in your extension toolchain causing it?
Same here. Every now and then I need to disable ublock Origin and reload to make a form with too many external dependencies work correctly.
i also only use FF on all my devices (w/ ublock), nearly never have problems.
I can actually speak to this as I also have weird issues with FF that doesn't happen on a Chromium based browser.
Forms are a huge pain in the ass on FF a nonzero amount of time. It seems form validation and error handling simply fail a lot and it makes it almost impossible to navigate, even with me trying to fix their broken code.
Another weird place I've had issues intermittently is marketplace grids. Think Home Depot search results. Entire grids won't show up or have CSS beyond comprehension.
Lastly video codecs. I use asbPlayer a lot and FF just does not have the same capabilities.
I can't speak on OPs problems but I've absolutely had my fair share.
Same.
Once upon a time, every website only tested against Internet Explorer. Those notices you see to disable your adblocker will gradually disappear because you won't even matter to their bottom line.
