Firefox says it will keep supporting uBlock Origin even as Microsoft Edge and other Chromium browsers phase it out under Manifest V3.

Brave uses the Chrome web store.

Chrome Web store doesn't have uBlock Origin anymore it has uBlock Origin Lite, which just shares the name, but it is a different product that works with what little left chrome provides.

I think authors of uBlock Origin should never have released the lite version, it looks like it is creates a lot of confusion and keeps people using browser created by ad company.
