Autumn Hill (a trans woman) was sentenced to 50 years of prison in a men’s facility for attending the Prairieland anti-ICE protest. She left before shots were fired. She did nothing but legally exercise her first amendment rights.

Reminder that trans people are considered "probable domestic terrorists" by this administration.

Dunno where you live but the rest of the world isn't doing so great on trans rights either. This isn't a uniquely American problem, not by a long shot.

America is the spearhead of it all, and the rest are just following suit from the biggest bully, hoping they'll not be the target of bullying if they kiss ass

Hah.

That's one way of looking at things I guess...

"Other countries are worse than us so it's fine"

If you make a list of all the countries which are locking up trans people for being trans, it's not exactly a club to aspire to.

I never said or implied "worse". That was you.

My point is that fascism is on the rise worldwide. Here's my next point: Like it or not, what happens in the US will eventually affect you. We all live on the same planet and in the same information ecosphere. So maybe we should collectively take action to improve our lives and stop cruelty, instead of trying to win the Stupid Internet Points Game.

Have a good day!
