There are many Debian based distros, just all the Ubuntu flavors is enough
Those are based on Debian. Not Debian. If you ask for a debian and I give you pop_os, you'd probably not like it.
And flavours are flavours, not distro. It's the same distro, just different settings

Then, if we are to follow that logic of excluding derivatives, then we get NixOS, Arch, LFS, TinyCore Linux, Gentoo, Debian (of course!) and... I give up; what else is out there?
And I use Debian, just to put it on record.

The saddest part on your comment was that Suse was my first distro and it did not register in my mind. As for Fedore, althoug I still insist calling it Red Hat.
I initially typed "Suse and Red Hat" but then I changed it to say Fedora because I wanted to avoid some pedantic comments about "But Red Hat doesn't exist anymore!" or on the opposite extreme, reductive inaccuracies like "But Red Hat is for enterprise!"
In other words, your comment is very valid. I also thought about just saying "RPM-based distros" because your initial list didn't have any.
And I thought about mentioning Mandriva separately, but I know that was originally a Red Hat fork, and also now we're kinda getting into the weeds...

Well you see ubuntu is the same as debian so you shouldn't use debian because of canonicals snaps, stance on ai, and advertising in the terminal.

I'm not sure whether you really mean Debian has all those issues or if it's sarcasm, but otherwise it's clearer you're not recommending Debian
Debian does not have snaps (I suppose you could install snappy, but that is the case for most distributions).
Debian also doesn't have canonical ads in its command outputs.
And debian does nor allow LLM contributions to all its related stuff, i.e. debian packaging, software projects, websites, docs, and communication.
Generally debian is pretty ai-negative where ubuntu is very ai-positive.
So this is continuing the sarcasm because obviously it's all clearly wrong.
