You just lowered the bar*, but the US DOJ routinely reports that up to 50% to 60% of people that take a plea deal are actually innocent upon further review of the actual evidence.
Plea deals are how about 90% of all cases in the US are settled, with the innocent accused pleading guilty to a crime they didn't commit, so they get a better deal than a jury and judge will give them if they are found guilty.
Again, I am not going to give you more than crumbs. You can find all this data with a quick search.
*Lowered the bar in this case is equivalent to moving the goalposts in my favor.
Cool, how many of them took a plea deal for killing someone?
At least let those goalposts cool down a bit before moving them again.
