who is Flatpak?
Third sentence:
How do you invest in a "package distribution method"?
Well they don't grow on trees, do they?
It would be crazy if packaging methods grew on trees lol. But a tree is technically also an investment anyway.
By giving them money?
Recruiting people, allocating resources like dedicated developers for a few months, putting money in infrastructure like CI and hosting resources, have programs in place to reward security issues and disclosures, etc.
There's a lot of places to use and invest money in open source.
You don't know the ~~in~~famous ~~hacker~~ packaging method named Flatpak?
