Yeah, he’s such a cool guy when he isn’t being a total asshole. Complicated character…
Not quite an asshole. Competence only looks like arrogance from below. He's actually quite nice and friendly in person. He just has a no bullshit attitude, which is especially jarring for Americans, who always wrap their criticism in several layers of glazing.
And that is something I can respect.
