Mostly because it's a neo-monarchist kleptocracy. Wealth and Power are distributed according to inherent, not achieved, merit. Know Your Place, peon.
Mostly because they come to the party of years of working in ironically named "think tanks" funded by US right wing foundations like Koch and Atlas.
Example: Jamil Jirvani. Appointed senior fellow for Diversity and Empowerment at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, a conservative, libertarian think tank affiliated with the US Atlas Network, in 2020. Buddy of JD Vance, they ran a fake charity in Ohio together.
After that he got fired from Bell Media for covid misinformation and insisting on misgendering Demi Lovato. Then he pulled the race card claiming he was fires because he was black.
Since January 2026, he has been in Washington involved in the trade negotiations, which is why that ended up being the shitshow it is.
Bowmanville -Oshawa loves him, now they can eat a big steaming bowl of tariffs.
