USA has shown time and time again that they can do absolutely nothing against a barely structured insurgency. If the canadian military has been paying the slightest bit of attention for the past 70 years, they know not to defend against USA by conventional methods.

Population of Iraq: 48 million

Population of Canada: 41 million

Area of Iraq: 438,000 km²

Area of Canada: 9.98 million km²

US-Iraq Border: 0 km

US-Canada Border: 8,900 km

A US invasion of Canada would make Iraq look like a pleasant afternoon picnic in the park.

Plus, Iraq was an incompetent, unpopularely totalitarian dictatorship. And that's before you even go to the cultural and ethnic advantages we'd have as guerillas against the US.
