Honestly, I would probably do this too.

People obviously aren't able to comprehend the severity of the problem, otherwise there would be mass panic already.

We're just frogs in a pot, with a small percentage of frogs that understand what is happening and an even smaller percentage making any personal sacrifices to fix it.

It's just the way we're wired. So we'll keep having kids who will die from climate change related problems and not from old age. Depressingly.
