Even without the "freeze peach" context, the company directly chose to give this individual in particular way more money than most people have including probably most of their other employees, that would enable them to make donations at the scale of hundreds of thousands of USD/EUR, so they already do have a lot of say. And in this case they're a cofounder, not a random employee, so they as a person quite literally decide the company's values.
There's nothing fascist about harm reduction.
