Life continues getting better in China every year.

In any given country there are always groups that are, to varying degrees, persecuted, ostracised or who don't benefit from the general increase in the quality of life. That does not mean the country isn't doing well.
You are of course correct on that. I was merely pushing back on what was looking and sounding like a tankie agenda. But life is steadily getting better in China (based on data that I trust which isn't that easy to find when it comes to China), which I'm very glad for.
Many of the same people and organizations that told you that are also Israel supporters. Ask yourself why that is.
The actual statistics for Xinjiang province show the same quality of life improvements as the rest of China. The Uyghur population is living longer, attaining higher education, earning higher incomes, and their region is seeing constant development.
Time will tell. A year from now, I bet things are even better. Will your life be better next year? Mine probably won't.

I do this for free because I'm a stupid loser and I haven't had friends for almost ten years and I probably never will again and have nothing better to do with my time and it will never get better and anyone who says otherwise is a fucking liar. 🙂
