I am SO uncomfortable with the idea of handing images of my id over.
I love the idea of a company selling my id to some ex.
We didn't need to hand our IDs over
IDs don’t belong on computers.
They aren't? I mean they are, but not for social media verification.
Like the government knows all my financial details for tax purposes. It knows my healthiness because we have public health care in Australia. It knows my criminal history as well as what I look like through police records. But it definitely doesn't have my ID for social media verification purposes
Yeah, but you'll upset the stupid 'Muricans if you tell them what's actually happening, rather than what they want to think is happening
