That awkward moment when you’re on someone’s side but they say something so stupid you become a singularity of cringe. There’s no self-replicating code - if I have to guess, I think he misread the reports that agentic LLMs are polluting editable public sites with data. Some claim that it’s to communicate to other agents, but these programs don’t have the intent necessary to communicate.
Hey now... there was that "tech demo" of two chatbots shitting fax noises at each other to reserve a hotel room.
