The people they've hired into these positions either know nothing about how the internet works or they just don't give a shit. I remember this interview from years ago and the fucking CEO of AI at Microsoft thought it was just fine to scrap everything on the web because it's "publicly available".

People that have ran websites since the beginning have always wanted to protect what they put out there and keep people from stealing their content. It feels like this guy just got some degrees and became CEO without ever being on the internet.

Literal psychopaths attain the "American dream" easier then people with soul.

We are to blame as well for believing their curated and psychological manipulative marketing, not just ai, but in general we trade humanity for escapism, and the ability to not have to understand authentic true reality.... Because true reality is uncertain and scary.

It's like the natural human existential crisis that we all have... The one that old cultures taught us how to deal with, like the lessons of Jesus and the back bones of religions, and native cultures, is exploited for control of humanity. Like we are all in the palm of "evil".
