you won't generate a 1,000x return on investment, AI could if it becomes AGI somehow. It's like gambling but nobody knows the odds and the payout is big enough that it's almost worth it to try without knowing the odds.

I've been familiar with the Singularity for a long time now and this "recent" perspective by AI investors bewilders me. There's no profit to be had there - you can't enslave a god. 💀
