Americans are seeing the actual repercussions of those massive data centers being forced into their communities and stealing their water and power first hand. They're being force to use that trash at work and then fix their constant fuckups on shorter time-frames than they used to be given to build the thing normally - because executives are the ones slurping up the actual propaganda that LLMs are actually useful for much of anything. They're the ones being fired because their bosses think a probabilistic word generator can replace a thinking human.
its the massive layoffs, AI has been causing the layoffs for like 3 years already. now we see people even complaining about the universities they graduating from.
We're saying the same thing, it's too much slop to replace and now they're lowkey rehiring because they wanted to replace us and are now using "safety" as their excuse for a product that's mid
