Why does the gastank need to be part of the door to achieve this? It‘s already possible to fill it from the side of the car in most cars.

Edit: And why IS THE MIRROR ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR????

You have to get out of the car to fill it from the side. Drive-thru implies not having to get out of the car

You don't have to get out when filling up in Mexico either. They're just a more advanced society.
