Palantir's such a psychotically cringey company. Acting like flying a MacBook from a desk in Miami is some warrior shit. God I hate them so much. What's worse is they actually do help kill people but never have to come face to face with it.
On top of that their cringe is infecting other tech companies. Like the term "forward deployed engineer". Because you know, implying that you're at war with your customers is definitely healthy and appropriate.
Forward deployed wouldn't imply that to me, but it is a valid inference.
To me it just sounds like fieldwork.
