I have brought my phone into the bathroom (not shower) exactly twice, in my entire life.. and both times it was because I was expecting a vitally important call, and could not wait for the call to come before getting in the shower.
I can not imagine the necessity of regularly taking your phone into the goddamn shower itself
You take it out of your pants pocket before entering the bathroom?
No, I dont walk around my house with my phone in my pocket.
I don't either but I often use the bathroom after coming back home from outside, and the phone is still in my pocket at least then.
And so at work?
I don't regularly shower at work

Unless they use bathroom as the term for the room where you wash yourself not the toilet.
Someone saw the movie Jexi.
I've never even heard of the word Jexi.
Its a movie about AI phone. The dude takes into the shower with him. Pretty hilarious movie.
