Reddit said in the next few months it will limit access for logged-in users to those who have used Old Reddit in the last 6 months. (The company changed this from 90 days to 6 months, just as their news went out.)

wouldn't want anyone using old reddit?

So, if you haven't logged into Old Reddit in 6 months, or are a new user after the change takes effect, you'll just never be able to use it ever again? Holy shit that's nasty

they also dont want Lurkers either, they want those log-in. people lurk now due to reddits AI moderation being so ban heavy, and its heavy handed. they need the content to be scraped by AI.
