What I think of whenever anyone goes on about claiming or behaving like they're some "real peak alpha male":
These tech bros know it and they sure try hard to compensate by flooding the zone with slop...
Oh I always took it as a version number, which seems fitting for tech bros. Like alpha version = buggy, not ready for the general public, use at your own risk
