The history taught to you is the revisionist one.
This story is the psychopolitical, Great Man Theory marvelslop version of what actually happened. It's the World War 2 version of George Washington chopping down a cherry tree, and to earnestly repeat it as an adult is a mark of profound historical incuriosity.
The mod removed. It would be nice if mods would let someone talk. I made three comments on a post recently. Two complimentary of something, and one pointing out flaws. The mod ignored the two and removed the critical one.
Mods allow people to talk. They just dont allow them to uncritically repeat the same tired long-debunked clichés. Well they do, but not if the person is also being shitty.
