All those things matter:

  • number of EVs on the roads
  • number of private chargers
  • number of public chargers
  • average range
  • average charging speed
  • average trip distance

For EVs to work you need to have adequate combination of all of them. You can't simply say "charging speed doesn't matter" while ignoring range, number of EVs and distance people travel. Why do people insist on focusing only one thing at a time? First it was all about range, not it's all about charging speeds. It's not that simple.
