The notice here on the site reads Flock Cameras have not yet officially been confirmed to be in Canada yet.

Apparently Home Depot in Toronto has plans for them to be installed, to help with their theft issues. The same theft issues the cops already do sweet fuck all about. But apparently having AI hallucinations telling the cops that XYZ did the crime is somehow going to help them.

i forgot home depot even in the states, was a premiere target for shoplifting expensive home improvement equipment, and selling it.(remember the shoplifitng sub, before it was shutdown in the 1st term). it was shoplifters primary target, followed by lowes. they often use the garden section to throw lifted material over the fence.

Man duck home depot. I try to buy from Rona when I can since trump anyways.

While Rona is a "Canadian" company, it is owned by Sycamore Partners since 2023. An American private equity firm based in New York.

I'm not sure what's left nationally beyond Home Hardware and Canadian Tire. Regionally and locally there may be some additional options.

Windsor Plywood has quite a few franchises.

Home Hardware FTW!

Princess Auto is Canadian, but more for vehicles.

And then some of your independent hardware stores like Preston in Ottawa.

There is also online Canadian stores instead.

Thankfully the rona near me is a fully independent location that only shares the name, it might not be the only one so it may be worth checking.

Man duck home depot

let me guess, you're standing in front of a home depot and are calling out things you see?

This is the Bad Place!

I think Rona is American owned now.
