That strategy didnt exactly go phenomenally for the temperance movement, but I guess technically they did get two constitutional amendments out of it
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the temperance movement also played a pretty big role in helping women get organized for the women's suffrage movement. Also it gave us the YMCA and Salvation Army
