They replace actual jobs and are not taxed the same as a person doing the same job. Also if I am now doing the job of a person you replaced I should be compensated with a discount.

​I get where you're coming from but I look at it a bit differently.

Offloading mundane labor to machines is net positive; it's our "adapt or starve" economic setup that's broken.

​Honestly, I just like packing my bags correctly without feeling rushed by a cashier or dealing with human interaction, for me that's a big plus.
